Charleston Center for Photography Founder Elected to Wounded Nature - Working Veterans Board of Directors

CHARLESTON, SC - August 22, 2011 - Stacy Pearsall, Founder, Charleston Center for Photography has joined the board of directors of Wounded Nature - Working Veterans

Wounded Nature - Working Veterans is a Charleston, SC based non- profit that will have five Victory Vessels moving up and down the East Coast in 2012 cleaning beaches, visiting military bases, and attending port festivals.  Each vessel will represent one of each branch of the military.  Each vessel will have its own sponsor and be branded by the sponsor with both their brand and that of the military branch that Victory Vessel represents.  Wounded Nature - Working Veterans is the only organization utilizing veterans and water based vessels to clean up the environment and educate the public on a year round basis. Wounded Nature is working to make the East Coast become the World's Green, Tan and Blue Coast.

Stacy states "I am a disabled veteran with a passion for photography.  Both aspects of Wounded Nature - Working Veterans mission are personally very important to me.  As a photographer, I know that visual images of any setting will set the mood and tone for that area.  Trash and litter whether it is in an urban neighborhood or on rural beaches shows and breeds disrespect.  Allowing trash and litter to accumulate not only harms the environment but it quickly destroys the character and ambiance for any area.  As a disabled veteran, I know that the first private sector employment experience is very important in setting the stage for the rest of any veteran's life and Wounded Nature's will move on to become good corporate and private citizens in our community.  I also know that these young men and women veterans will be great ambassadors on behalf of Wounded Nature - Wounded Veterans' mission"
